The Al Noor Hotel
Set in the heart of Dubai, this boutique hotel blends modern Middle Eastern elegance with a refined, international design language.
Lithos supplied and fabricated all major stone elements: the monolithic reception desk, towering stone columns, floor slabs with brass inlays, sculptural wall cladding, lounge surfaces, and the hotel’s signature washrooms.
A Hotel Defined by Stone and Light
The lobby’s identity comes from its materiality. Warm beige and sandstone-toned slabs set the foundation, while soft indirect lighting enhances every vein and texture. Vertical stone fins guide the eye through the space, creating rhythm and monumentality. Lithos worked closely with the architects to curate a palette that feels both modern and timeless.
Monolithic Desert Stone Precision
The reception desk acts as the hotel’s anchor piece: a massive block of warm desert stone, meticulously cut and finished to appear seamless. Soft golden light washes over its surface, highlighting the stone’s mineral patterns. This desk sets the tone for the entire visitor experience—minimal, elegant, and grounded.
Architectural Rhythm Made From Stone
The large-scale columns are engineered from carefully matched stone panels, each chosen for color harmony and structural consistency. These columns bring height and presence to the lobby, echoing the grandeur of regional architecture while maintaining a contemporary edge.
Calm, Soft, and Luxurious
Throughout the lounge, Lithos provided stone slabs for flooring, side tables, and custom surfaces. Brass lines integrated into the stone floor guide circulation subtly, adding refinement without visual noise. The stone palette blends naturally with soft furnishings, creating a calm desert-inspired aesthetic.
Pure, Sculptural Stone Craftsmanship
The washrooms extend the project’s material language with large-format stone slabs, seamless vanities, and precision detailing. Warm backlighting and brass fixtures add subtle luxury, while the clean geometry of the stone basins reinforces the hotel’s minimalist identity.
Craftsmanship That Elevates Hospitality
This project showcases Lithos’ ability to work at scale while maintaining precision. From bookmatching vertical slabs to executing invisible seams on large-format installations, every detail demonstrates technical mastery and sensitivity to design intent.
Lithos didn’t just supply stone—we shaped an atmosphere that defines the hotel’s brand. The result is a cohesive hospitality environment where stone expresses continuity, warmth, and sophistication across every guest touchpoint.
Lithos delivered stonework that transformed our lobby into a statement of quiet luxury. Their craftsmanship, precision, and material expertise elevated every part of the project. The hotel’s atmosphere simply wouldn’t be the same without them
