A Home Defined by Stones

Private hillside villa with mid-century Mediterranean design, blending sculptural concrete, warm wood, and expansive glazing with carefully curated natural stone pieces.

Lithos supplied and fabricated all major stone components: the monolithic fireplace hearth, kitchen island and counters, bathroom slabs, exterior pathways, and carved custom elements used throughout the home’s split-level layout.

A Home Defined by Stone and Light

The architecture leans on long horizontal lines, gentle light, and a calm material palette. Stone serves as the connective tissue across all spaces—from large-format flooring to precision-cut interior details.

At sunset, the warm tones of the stone surfaces catch the light, softening the geometry and grounding the home in its natural surroundings.

Sculptural Stone as the Heart of the Home

The living space is anchored by a monolithic stone fireplace, engineered and fabricated to read as a seamless sculptural block. Its matte finish and subtle mineral variation introduce a quiet tactile richness that balances the glass and wood around it.

Stone as a Functional Sculpture

The kitchen centers on a large stone island with dramatic veining, paired with full-height stone backsplash panels. Warm light at golden hour reveals the depth of the stone’s movement, creating an unmistakably luxurious focal point in the open-plan space.

Precision, Minimalism, and Soft Desert Tone

Both the master and guest bathrooms extend the home’s material identity. Large-format slabs minimize visual interruption, creating seamless walls and vanities. The bathrooms feel serene, restrained, and timeless—exactly the atmosphere the homeowners envisioned.

Stone Shaping the Landscape

Outside, the natural stone continues. The palette ties the home to its surroundings, celebrating the landscape rather than competing with it.

A Case Study in Craftsmanship

This project demonstrates Lithos’ ability to work across scale: from small carved interior pieces to expansive outdoor landscapes, all executed with technical precision. Bookmatching, invisible seams, structural detailing, and on-site coordination ensured that every stone element aligned perfectly with the architect’s vision.

Lithos didn’t just install surfaces. We helped shape the architectural experience of the home.

Lithos transformed our home with stonework that feels both sculptural and effortlessly natural. Every surface is precise, tactile, and beautifully integrated. The craftsmanship exceeded every expectation.
