Crafting Stone at the Edge of the Sea

The terrace was built around a series of large-format stone slabs precisely placed to create continuity across the entire outdoor level. During installation, each slab was cut, calibrated, and water-tested to ensure perfect alignment with the pool edge. The subtle tonal movement of the stone mirrors the shifting colors of the sea, grounding the architecture within its dramatic setting.

A Horizon Carved in Stone

The pool’s perimeter is detailed with custom-shaped stone coping that creates a seamless visual transition into the water. Its clean lines emphasize the dramatic drop toward the Aegean below. This stone detailing ensures durability while maintaining an elegant, uninterrupted edge condition.

Paired with the villa’s wood pergolas and olive trees, the pool becomes a sculptural centerpiece.

Generous lounge platforms, shaded pergolas, and built-in stone seating create a hospitality-like atmosphere. The stone surface provides a cool tactile experience underfoot, essential for Mediterranean summers.
